And I’m not talking about the GT-R.
The entire section of this parking lot where these cars are parked is ~always~ this sparsely populated. There’s just no reason to park your 911 across two spots.

There is only one solution for the way that Porsche is parked:

I’m not sure this bothers me. I would care if the parking was tight and they were taking spaces, but this d-bag parking like this in an near empty parking lot is no issue.

It’s better than the GT-R anyways. Not an excuse for the parking, just saying.

I once tested to see if I could
get my 350Z parked in such a way that it was partially in 6 spaces. I could. I then parked correctly.

Starred for the psych reference in your name.

But if the d-bag parking is to prevent door dings/scratches from other people, and no one ever parks anywhere near you, is the d-bag parking necessary in the first place? No, it is not. Just pull straight into the spot.

If I parked in this lot you’d better believe I would have moved my car there.

I know that parking lot....but I can’t place it. Is this your picture?
![]() 08/29/2018 at 18:16 |

Yep, my picture. It’s the abandoned Albertson’s in Tualatin right off of 99.

I actually know that parking lot too . There’s a Rite-Aid to the left and Marshalls and some kind of dollar store further to the right of that strip right?

Very good

But lets for full circle then, since no one is there to lose a spot due to this type of parking, what does it matter then, no one is getting in in convenienced .
Kinda like the “Chicken or the Egg” situation here.

I support this 100%. Sometimes when I see similar vehicles I call my wife and say, “This is car B-Lue-Berry...”

Yes, I worked at that Marshall’s a few years back for a couple of days upgrading their phones/point of sale.

I view parking as a part of driving. If you can stay in your marked lane while driving I don’t see why you can’t pull into a single marked parking stall.
Don’t misinterpret my bullheadedness for antagonism; I realize this matter doesn’t, in fact, matter. I just thought the juxtaposition of the perfectly parked GT-R and the crooked 911 was worth sharing.
![]() 08/30/2018 at 00:49 |

Absolutely, that makes sense. I don’t care if someone parks that way in a near empty parking lot. However, I don’t personally park that way because I agree with you on how you should drive and park.
